Handd

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

What this policy covers

This policy describes how Handd (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, mobile app, and the client share links our users send. It applies to freelancers and agencies who create an account (“users”) and to their clients who view a shared delivery link without creating one.

Information we collect

  • Account information — your name and email address when you sign up, managed through our authentication provider.
  • Project content — projects, client records, deliverables, file metadata, and the files you upload for delivery.
  • Client interactions — when a client opens a share link, we record the name and (optional) email they provide when commenting or approving/rejecting work, plus basic activity (link views, downloads) tied to that share.
  • Contact form submissions — name, email, and message content if you contact us directly.

How we use it

We use this information to operate the service itself: authenticating your account, storing and delivering your projects and files, showing clients the deliverables you've shared with them, and responding to support requests. We do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising or third-party tracking on the client-facing share pages.

Where data is stored

Handd is built on Supabase (Postgres, Authentication, and Storage). Uploaded files are kept in a private storage bucket and are only ever accessed through short-lived, signed URLs — never a permanent public link.

Cookies

We use cookies only to maintain your authenticated session on the web app. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Data retention and deletion

Your projects, deliverables, and files are retained until you delete them or close your account. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Your rights

You can access, correct, or delete your account information at any time from within the app, or by contacting us directly. Clients interacting with a share link can request removal of their comments by contacting the freelancer or agency who sent the link, or us directly.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
